于1764年加入Meissen的艺术家Victor Acier被认为是一位古典主义瓷绘的大成者，同时也一位将Meissen洛可可艺术推向高峰的人物。他从当时的油画艺术中汲取养分，利用Meissen得天独厚的瓷器优势，将油画的布局，视点及光影效果与瓷器的纯白表面融合在一起，创造出风靡一时的瓷绘风格。盖碗上的纹饰改编自十八世纪中叶法国天才画家弗朗索瓦•布歇的经典作品《蒙难的欧罗巴》。时评其为“以惯用的甜腻手法，刻划了如瓷器细腻的女裸肌肤与躯体”，两者的融合极为贴切。
