景德镇的青白瓷，以其质地精良，工艺精细，胎骨洁白，细腻致密而闻名，又以制作工整，釉层匀净，釉色莹润，薄而透明，器内花纹器外亦可映见，具有清秀美玉般的质感而著称。景德镇的工匠们在这一时期发挥了聪明智慧，创烧了独特的釉色（青白釉），创造了白如玉，明如镜，薄如纸，声如磬的独特风格。
