青花釉里红是在青花间用釉里红加绘纹饰的一种瓷器装饰手法
始烧于元代，到了明代永宣时期釉里红的烧制技术十分成熟。历代烧造青花釉里红瓷极为困难，由于钴青料与铜红料烧成温度以及窑室气氛要求不同，烧成难度大。
正常显色不仅与彩料中的铜含量和基釉的成分有关，而且对烧造的气氛和窑温的要求极高，因此真正色彩鲜艳的青花釉里红器极为难得。
此斗笠杯外壁绘松竹梅纹，又称为“岁寒三友”，是文人们常用的绘画题材
松树寓于君子镇定之态，竹子象征虚怀与率直，梅花表现坚强不屈的品德。
整个画面疏密有致，构图丰满，运笔流畅，花色淡雅。
此杯因形如蓑翁之斗笠，呈喇叭形，口部大，底足小
杯身的线条极为简雅，大开大合的线条表达着粗放淳朴的民风，
而张开的角度足有120度，杯壁自下而上顺势外放的一道干净的弧线，称之为斗笠杯。
采用青花手书“大明宣德年制”六字楷书款，字正圆润、规矩。
