不用线条勾勒的没骨，仅依着墨中水分的多少，在若隐若现、若有若无之间去晕染出花瓣花枝与花蕊。

 

画出世间一切花卉那种水汪汪、清而有神的美样子。

恽寿平画画时特别安静、特别尽心，每天早晨起来研调好各种墨汁，便安然铺纸作画。时逢有客人前来作客，他会将纸墨一并收起，洗笔的水也要倒掉，不露一点画过画的痕迹，只与客人吟诗说话。

除非客人告辞，否则他不提笔作画。

这种成空的状态，品读他的花儿时，是会感受得到的：画面雅致淡然，半点没有铿锵声与火气。

又有那样的气质，于不动声色中，笔笔染着他骨子里的富贵气，却又并不喧哗。

淡泊与贵气，看似简单，其实最难。

 

 

可以说，恽寿平用自己的一生，画尽了他所能见到的每一种花朵。于他之前，没有一个人将花儿画到这么入骨，于他之后，尚无一个人真正画出他那样的精彩，达到他那样的神气。
