观音 观世音菩萨

观音菩萨他相貌端庄慈祥，经常手持净瓶杨柳，具有无量的智慧和神通，大慈大悲，普救人间疾苦。当人们遇到灾难时，只要念其名号，便前往救度，所以称观世音。

观世音菩萨有三个生日。分别是农历的二月十九，六月十九和九月十九。二月十九是她为人的生日，这天她成了三公主。六月十九是跳火坑的日子。她的父亲不让她学佛，命人活活的烧死了她。其实是菩萨的忌日，也是她最苦最伤心的一天。九月十九是她成佛的日子，这天她修成了菩萨，坐上了莲台。是一个喜庆的日子。

当今之世，人间苦难重重，灾祸频生，正急于需要观音菩萨的慈悲救济。如果人皆能称念观音菩萨的圣号，人皆能学习观音菩萨的大慈大悲，人皆能发扬光大观音菩萨寻声救苦、平等与乐的精神，使自己与他人都变为现代大慈大悲的观世音，自然可以溶化人心的仇恨，止息人间的斗争，以及拯救全世界人类的不幸，给予全世界人类生活上的幸福，与心灵上的快乐！
