薄胎瓷

定义：胎体极薄、透光性极好、做工精致的艺术瓷。

薄胎瓷亦称“脱胎瓷”、“蛋壳瓷”。是景德传统瓷器品种中久负盛名的特种工艺产品之一。特点是瓷胎薄如蛋壳、透光、胎质用纯釉制成。

工艺特色

制作从配料、拉坯、利坯（修坯）、上釉到绘画、烧制，须经四十多道工序，全部采用手工，分三次烧成。尤以利坯和艺术加工最为精细。利坯要经过粗修、细修、精修等反复百次的修琢，才能将二、三毫米厚的粗坯修至0.5毫米左右。胎体厚度大多在1毫米以内，人称之为：薄似蝉翼，亮如玻璃，轻若浮云。它轻巧、秀丽，做工精致，透光性好，是中国景德镇传统艺术名瓷之一。

历史传承

中国薄胎瓷器享誉全球，特别是景德镇生产的薄胎瓷器，更是声名远扬，现远销60多个国家和地区。国际友人把制作薄胎瓷器的技艺，称之为“神技”，把薄胎瓷器誉之为“天上才有的珍品”景德镇薄胎瓷器先后荣获国家银质奖和国际博览会金奖。

景德镇的薄胎瓷源远流长，始于北宋的影青瓷，那时就有“滋润透影，薄轻巧”。所谓“只恐风吹去，还愁日觅销”， 确实是充分体现景瓷“薄为纸”的写照
