青花釉里红是在青花间用釉里红加绘纹饰的一种瓷器装饰手法 始烧于元代
到了明代永宣时期釉里红的烧制技术十分成熟。
历代烧造青花釉里红瓷极为困难，
由于钴青料与铜红料烧成温度以及窑室气氛要求不同，烧成难度大。
正常显色不仅与彩料中的铜含量和基釉的成分有关，
而且对烧造的气氛和窑温的要求极高，
因此真正色彩鲜艳的青花釉里红器极为难得。
盖碗，又称“三才碗”，“三才杯”，盖为天、托为地、碗为人。
暗含天地人和之意，鲁迅先生在《喝茶》一文中曾这样写道：“喝好茶，是要用盖碗的。
于是用盖碗。果然，泡了之后，色清而味甘，微香而小苦，确是好茶叶。
凡深谙茶道的人都知道，品茗特别讲究“察色、嗅香、品味、观形”。
盖碗利于察色、观形，亦利于茶汤浓淡之调节。
采用青花手书“大明宣德年制”六字楷书款，字正圆润、规矩。
缠枝莲纹是中国传统吉祥纹饰，多用于装饰瓷器，缠枝纹的一种，
通体以绘莲花为主，是以一种藤蔓卷草经过提炼变化而成缠枝莲纹饰
又名“万寿藤”，寓意吉庆。
因其结构连绵不断，故有“生生不息”之意。
